tyggerjaiSo that's one thing off my todo list for the day - build a base for sparky. Took longer than it should, because I'm on HOLIDAY, and therefore spending most of the day reading, eating, sleeping, playing Rise of NAtions, etc. But the sparky base is built, huzzah. And the mindstorms drivering base with tracks is actually pretty wide, which is good - the whole point of this prototyping run is to *avoid* making the chassis from scratch. IT will definitely take the biscuit PC - dunno about battery, but I still haven't decided on a battery implementation to test yet. So it'll roll around tethered by power and ethernet for a while, till I get battery and USB wireless. Gar, USB wireless, but oh well.
And tonight, apparently, I Was unable to sit and watch _The Score_, but instead, had to set up the biscuit PC to then talk to the sparky base. So I went to download the Lego USB tower kernel patch, and imagine my *glee* to discover that it's been in the linux kernel since 2.6.1rc1. Huzzah. This is me downloading 2.6.2, then.
Sad, isn't it?
