Curse this disposable income....

On the bright side, a fridge, and paying off the credit card so I can start saving for Venice. Though I'll probably just fund Venice with a personal loan :)

On the bright-for-me-but-potentially-destructive-for-my-relationship side, wireless.
Anyone have a couple of 802.11b PCMCIA cards they don't need? Figure I'll give that a shot before going to g.

No PCMCIA, but I do have a spare DWL-520+ PCI card if you want it. Works only with Windows though AFAIK.

If you haven't bought an AP, I can heartily recommend the Linksys WRT54G. At ~$140 it's damned good value, and there're people actively extending its functionality so even if Linksys lose interest there will probably be further fixes/improvements as need.

I have bought the AP, and I believe I will soon be able to heartily recommend the WRT54GS. More Of Everything, basically, and I got it for $177 shipped overnight from Brisbane.

The cards are for laptops, thanks anyway. Though I think I'll need a USB->wireless dongle for the biscuit PC.

Actually, our BWindowsAdminFH might buy that from you if the price was right.
