A night later, and I've rejigged huge amounts of the internal API, and not actually added the functionality I was going to. Hah!

It's prettier, though, and this post is written in it. I'm astounded, though, at how much the Perl GTK stuff seems to suck, though no doubt I suck at it to no small degree.

The Perl GTK stuff would be a lot better (IMNSHO) if their documentation was a bit more than "Umm - it's like the C stuff only a bit different".
