The ones you see in trains and shops. Research seems to indicate that they tend to be pre-programmed, rather than hooked up to a PC. Anyone know if one can get serial/USB interfaces for them?

And, in fact, where to get the damn things for a decent price, since the Netizen one seems to have vanished into the aether?
