tyggerjaiWas going to wait till I got home to post pictures of My Actual Units, but two of these arrived today. Very exciting, Size really doesn't matter, after all :) One of these replaces the full midtower system (with assorted heat/power drains) that's currently our web/mail server. The other willprobably wind up doing network storage duty, or possibly MP3 server stuff.
And now that my awe of the Throbbing Beast has worn off, I'm looking at tweaking it, and it turns out it's an overclockers wet dream. The CPU will overclock to more like 2.8 GHz without breaking a sweat, especially with that fan, and the Highpoint controller figures are ... impressive. And the RAM is apparently the *only* thing serious overclockers would even consider. So all in all, it was a good buy, apparently. Yay. And case mod plans proceed apace. Anyone out there handy with a spray can? I think the case mod needs hotrod style flamez down the side...
