SO telstra.
I paid my bill, and rang their customer support to say "Ok, please reconnect me.". And the helpful droid ont he other end said "Um. I'd love to, cos I can see that the payment has gone through, but we haven't actually suspended you for non-payment. Or, in fact, for anything. As far as we can see, your account is fine. Our network probably sucks."

Probably!!??
