Ah, I looked them up! Not retro - Russian. Could be doing it all for themselves from first principles.

Да, вот. The biggest thing to come out of Russia in 2009, apparently. It's another datapoint in support of my theory that Russia ( and Ukraine ) never actually left the 80s. All we saw there was acidwash denim and leopard print. And that was just the guys. And I don't think it was retro, I think it's been like this for 20 years.
