Bingo. Though messing around with LMMS, I've been especially playing with the Triple Oscillator, a.k.a. FM synthesis DX-7 style. All it needs is a set of painstakingly reproduced DX-7 presets and that's most of the 1983 Top 40.
Да, вот. The biggest thing to come out of Russia in 2009, apparently. It's another datapoint in support of my theory that Russia ( and Ukraine ) never actually left the 80s. All we saw there was acidwash denim and leopard print. And that was just the guys. And I don't think it was retro, I think it's been like this for 20 years.
