Dear San Franciscans.

If I were to be in your lovely city for a couple of weeks from about the middle of March, can I sleep on your couch? If so, for how long?

Almost certainly just me - I might just have enough clout to swing 2 week of on 4 weeks notice, but Rabbit is Essential and Irreplaceable, due to all that fireproofing.

If I weren't moving from that area, I'd gladly offer a couch. Surely Snails would've obliged (I would've made him) if I were staying and you came over.

:O

Hmm. There are some VK there, I think, but most of them are in southern CA. In Southern CA, I can totally point you at plenty of folks, even a couple non-VK that are cool as beans (my not-so chatty biological sisters are in the Bay Area...)!

It depends on the days. You are welcome to my Bunker, but I will out of town between the 12th and the 22nd for South by Southwest.

I would offer my new place, except that 1) it's in San Jose, and 2) I am rather uncertain of my own welcome here at the moment.

Yes, of course!

Err, with a small amount of doubt because I'm out of town March 12-18, but when I'm here, my couch is yours. And when I'm not, I can find you one. I know a few lovely couches in this town that would welcome you with open, errr, cushions.

P.S. You know, far north you can have a place to crash and food and a tour guide. (-: Just, ya know, in case you ever wondered.
