Some days, I really want a gig where I can't kill anyone. Or more to the point, where people can't get themselves killed under my care. It's been a pretty clean couple of weeks, but oy, my pretty young angels are not always blessed with a sense of self-preservation.

If they had a sense of self preservation, would they have chosen that profession, or gained that level in it? Fortunately some of us don't need to watch with bait breath instead of wonder.

I don't think it was, but it's certainly one of the reasons I'm quite happy to be "just" working for a telco/isp.

The worst thing that can happen under my watch is someone losing all their email... That may result in them killing themselves or someone else, but it's not actually a direct thingy.
