Well, I'm having a good day. Good week, actually. Great gig, even if we've finally automated the last straps cue, and I have nothing to do. On the bright side, that means I get to spend straps sessions playing with the angels on new tricks, or old tricks they've forgotten, or just stuff they want to play with. Man, I thought rehearsing the set moves was fun. Watching these guys explore the world 40 feet in the air is mindblowing. And being part of it is ... incredible.

And, still, again, falling in love with my wife, watching her become part of the cirque family, remembering why I fell in love with her the first time.

And it comes down to this - exploring, discovering, building, creating. Goddess, never let that stop.

I don't if I've ever actually said this to either of you, but I have an immense respect for your relationship with Megan. You're up there with David and Angelica as people that I hope to resemble when I'm a proper grown up, and I hang out with another proper grown-up.

Of course you only ever see the tiniest part of another couple's interaction, but as long as I've known you both, you and Megan have always seemed very, synchronous. When I'm around you I never get any vibe of competition or conflict, you don't seem to struggle with one another. You seem to be able to exist in the same space without getting in one another's way - I think that's actually really rare.

Of course, maybe you scream blue murder at one another when nobody's around, but I'd be very, very surprised :)
