Boom up! Slew left!

So. Today we lifted heavy things. Steel weighs 8 Tonnes per cubic metre (water weighs 1 tonne per cubic metre. Such a coincidence, you'd think someone planned it that way!). The angle factor for two slings at 60 degrees is 1.41. Max load for a given sling arrangement is SWL x angle factor x reeve factor.
Man. I'm loving it.

And I am teh GOD of whistle signals.

Can't wait to get on to the proper rigging course!
