It's that easy.

Not only am I now an unemployed student (kinda), by the 22nd of January, I'll be an unemployed dogger!

Enrolled at the VUT Werribee TAFE campus, doggers course from 11th Jan, at the paltry cost of $300 odd. Doggers ticket is the first step towards riggers. Then I go back to do the riggers, having got my concession card (apparently, it makes the riggers much, much cheaper). Huzzah!

So, off to centrelink now to get my concession card, and make someone's day by explaining that I don't actually want money from them, but if they wanted to contribute towards my retraining costs, that'd be lovely.

Not that I'm expecting anything, but the concession card will help. Even if it will feel wierd, being technically unemployed.

Trust spark_au to spoil my fun. When I said "Well, at least I'll be riding against the traffic to werribee to do the riggers course", his response was "Oh, I don't think it matters, at 7 am.".

7 am. Gar! bunnikins already thinks I'm crazy for getting up at 8 to go to the gym - getting up to be in Werribee at 7 am will convince her I've well and truly lost it.

*sigh*

OH well. It's only 2 weeks.
