Trust spark_au to spoil my fun. When I said "Well, at least I'll be riding against the traffic to werribee to do the riggers course", his response was "Oh, I don't think it matters, at 7 am.".

7 am. Gar! bunnikins already thinks I'm crazy for getting up at 8 to go to the gym - getting up to be in Werribee at 7 am will convince her I've well and truly lost it.

*sigh*

OH well. It's only 2 weeks.

7 isn't too bad. Especially from your way.
Just avoid the traffic into the city and you'll be fine.
Oh, and watch out for those pesky traffic cops on the way to Werribee VUT.

It means leaving my place at about 6. Which means getting up at 5:30. In the MORNING! wtf?
I'm seriously tempted to rent a place in Hoppers Crossing for the fortnight.

I'm not expecting it to be a lot of fun - I'm hoping that the full riggers ticket will mean I can a) pick up work to get by ( as you say) without doing 9-5 5 days a week (not to mention saving on gym fees :) and b) work up experience to do rigging for a circus.

So yeah, I'm not expecting it to be a career :)
