[livejournal.com profile] bunnikins and I came across a reference to a book called _Surfing the ZeitGeist_ the other day, by Gilbert Adair, and it sounds fascinating. Do any of our friends have such a beast in their extensive libraries that we could borrow? And is it any good?

Over a year since my bike accident, I have sent photos of the intersection off to my insurance company's lawyers, so they can send the to *his* incurance company's lawyers and say "*Now* will you just STFU and pay, since the "facts" as you report them seem to involve a right-hand turn lane that does not in fact exist?". Hopefully, this will mean cash soon. Hoo-fucking-ray.

So the Gym is on my way home. I ride exactly the same way, gym or not, and on non gym nights, I just keep riding.

Or at least, that's the theory. Yesterday, I did circuit training, as prescribed by Ambrose. They were much easier than they had been on Saturday, which is good. Tomorrow, I have another session with Ambrose, and he will Have No Mercy, I'm sure. So today, I found myself thinking "Just a quick weights session. nice and easy..." So I dropped in to the gym and did about 20 minutes of weights, just for fun.

Aiieee. But it is addictive, and now it's a habit....

Слышу голос из Прекрасного Далека
Он зовет меня в прекрасные края
Слышу голос голос спрашивает строго
А сегодня что для завтра сделал я
