Broken English was one of *those* albums when I was 17. Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen, Billy Bragg, and Marianne. And now I'm a Goth. Cause and effect theories, anyone?
Songs that will make me cry:

Why'd ya do it.
Sister Morphine.
She's Got a Problem.
Blue Millionaire
Ballad of Lucy Jordan.
As tears go by (duh).
Then on Sat Feb 8:
Ani di Franco at the Melbourne Music and Blues festival.
Ani rocks. It's the angry chick with a guitar thing. There's some guy called Dylan playing, too, and I guess I'll stick around and see him. But Ani!
I love this town.
(update. Before rabid MArianne Faithfull fans correct me, yes, that's pretty much the whole of "A child's Adventure", rather than Broken English. Oh well :)
