So. A long time ago, [livejournal.com profile] erudito began a tradition of buying ridiculous singing rabbit alarm clocks for [livejournal.com profile] bunnikins. To this day, when the damn things wear out, we have to go get another to replace it. This practice, apparently, inspired [livejournal.com profile] p_cat and [livejournal.com profile] punctured_lung to commemorate [livejournal.com profile] bunnikins recent birthday by buying her this. Which I refuse to attempt to describe, but yet, it lights up, and yes, it plays "Love me tender, love me true", in that bad, bad, electronic way.

But that's not the worst of it, and the *worst* of it is self inflicted. See, we have a couple of the rabbits lying around now - the singing gets a bit dodgy, but the clock works ok. And that hello kitty with polystyrene fluff and a windmill in her head? That's pretty alarming, let me tell you. And that's just a switch. You could hook it up to anything. So I did. I can't explain why. It just seemed like a good idea at the time.

Yes, that blue cable hooks the alarm switch on the rabbit up to the singing hello kitty head. Yes, that means the head starts singing at oh-god-thirty in the morning. No, I don't know why I did it.

Shoot me now.

He bought me a singing owl. It died some time ago and I finally got
round to throwing it out in my massive cleanup. Now I only have my
crappy old clock-radio.

That strange noise is 'Love me tender'?

If I'd known that ...

You are a crazy person and I have no sympathy. But this does prove that you're wonderful :)

punctured_lung won't even use the abuse-screaming Sailor Moon clock - what fun is that?
