spark_au pay for introducing me to Fette's Vette. It's been in my head ALL DAY. And not just the song, but I've been watching the Windspire clip in an attempt to force my brain to rebel in horror and reject it.
No luck. I brake for HAWTPANTS.
Anyhoo.
Upcoming events at the glasshouse. I'll be posting more details later (and maybe *flyers*, or rather, whatever the word is for things that would have been flyers, were it not that the internet has made flyers redundant. Web pages, I guess, but that sounds lame.)
To prevent y'all from having to choose, the porkfest will start at about 2, and go until whenever. Pork all day, natch.
As the newly appointed Cracklandian ambassador to the Antipodes, it's my duty, I think, to start spreading teh DUMB. It'd help if I knew what teh DUMB was, but I suspect it has something to do with alcohol. So. January, because I figure the NYE thing may be intimate, or just spread out across the day. Due to the success of our housewarming, I figure we should have another "real" party, before rabbit and I go to Venice. 22nd Jan is the weekend before we go away - gives us a few days to recover. I'm also tempted to make this a costume party, but I think that's just an excuse to wear a Boba Fett outfit. I'm a devious degenerate ....
So, stay tuned. If the Jan. one isn't a costume party, it'll probably be a cocktail party. Or both!
