Fitness mini-update.
Feb. 7th, 2009 09:27 amIt's been a while! Our boot camp coach was injured in a show last year - we kept going without him for a bit, but it died over New Year. I've still been lifting, but not doing so much cardio. Somehow, though, I seem still to be maintaining my waistline. So I'm adding jogging back in to decrease it even further. I'm even starting to see ab definition. Not individual abs, just something under my ribcage that isn't fat.
So this morning I went jogging, and actually enjoyed it. It's odd. I say I hate running, and I do find it hard to get going, and obviously the physical exertion sucks. but like lifting, I can find a zone where it's not too bad, and I feel awesome when I stop. Not just because I've stopped doing something I dislike, but because it's an achievement.
Anyway. I don't think I'm still anywhere near 6 minutes for BootCamp Hill, but I can get back there, I think. And I'm feeling and looking better. And I can do 5 pullups. So it's trapeze time!
