I miss my workshop, even though being here is inspiring projects I never dreamt of at home. The flying Pirate Ship is actually blueprinted and work commences this weekend.

I didn't realise how much I'd miss my William Gibson books. I want to go to Japann for cherry blossoms and get some kind of body mod done in Chiba.

When my Cantonese fails me and it becomes obvious just how little I speak, the locals kindly switch to Mandarin.

Which works, because my Mandarin is much better than my Cantonese, but HOW DO THEY KNOW??

"Maybe tomorrow" is Chinese for "Not this week, maybe next if you're lucky." They're just too polite to say it straight out.
