It's odd. I don't have to turn up, ever again. Me sitting here for another two weeks isn't going to get me paid any more. I am, literally, on my own time. But, gods dammit, it's the only way this prototype is going to be ready for the big conference in January, and *I* still understand loyalty ....

And, ironically, I'm much more productive now that I have a definite reward for finishing it - as soon as it's done, I can start sitting around on the companies dollar :) And I can leave at 4! Or in fact, whenever I like!

And yes, for those that Get It, I'm thinking of ordering a red Swingline from thinkgeek.
