Further adventures in hardware ...

So this has arrived - haven't played with it yet, but Scott fired his up, and it does indeed have a built in webserver and serial access. Just need to hook up an ICP cable. Also picked up a cheap 3.2 GHz P4 with m/b and RAM - had to buy a power supply, but soon yes soon I will have a new throbbing beast, probably for the bedroom.

And finally, for those that are interested in Lego Mindstorms, Game Boy Advance, or both, there's this. Too pricey for me, given that I've just spent my hardware allowance for the next decade or so, but mmmm. Anyone have a GBA they want to sell me?

Wrong. Just wrong.

If you're going to make a live-action, full length film of _Aeon Flux_, it pays to bear in mind that you already have two pretty hefty obstacles to start with.

Don't compound your woes by casting Charlize Fucking Theron as Aeon, eh?

Dread me!

Thanks to the patient and lovely [livejournal.com profile] meleah and [livejournal.com profile] bunnikins, I have dreads. And they rock! Should have done this years ago.

~15 K
Me looking artistic, kinda

~ 400 K each.
Me looking funny
Me looking natty

The first one is my new logitech quickcam express, with the default windows software.

It's a cheap piece of shit, if you were wondering, but hey, for $50, I guess it's not too bad.
