Other than "Write lots of it" and "Listen to lots of it" and "Read (critically) lots of it", what's the trick to decent dialog??
OH look, I answered my own question. But seriously - any tips?
You'd think, as a trained thespian, I'd have an advantage. Nuh-uh. If anything, it makes my dialog tend to the declamatory even more.
