bah.

So over the weekend, I finally got around to wiring up the LCD I have sitting around. I am the worlds worst solderer, but I thought even I could manage this. Apparently not :)

So either the LCD has been toasted by having been left lying around for months in a staticky environment, or my soldering skills really *do* suck :)
Off to jaycar again tomorrow, I guess, to get another LCD and some headers - soldering headers to the LCD will be easier than fiddling about with wires. Twice as much soldering, less than half as fiddly. Sounds like a fair deal to me.

*sigh*
I was really looking forward to proving my l33t hardware skillz, too :)
