Apr. 20th, 2004 09:59 pmSo. About to log a support call with Internode. 11 kb/s (yes, that's little b) is beyond unacceptable for a 512kb link. When I think "Ok, let's just check the draytek, see what it says." Check the "Established NAT sessions, and see a billion on port 4662 to
wicos box. "Uh, Ben? Are you running some sort of peer-to-peer thing still?".
Amazing how much faster it goes (back up to 419 kb/s) when you're not sharing videos with half the world :) We have now throttled the peer-to-peer client :)
So I can relax, secure in the knowledge that ADSL is fast when you don't actually swamp it with l33ching.
