So the Throbbing Beast, now that it has a worthy video card, also now has a worthy monitor.
Not the latest model, but 17" Sony trinitron goodness, nonetheless. And soon, dual-headed Sony 17" Sony trinitron goodness. Which means the very decent 17" Phillips can go upstairs. I so look forward to a decent monitor upstairs.
The trinitron has a wierd pincushiony feel, though - even after adjusting the geometry. It's never quite right - either too concanve or too convex, in some direction. But I suspect I shall get used to this.
And I've ordered an amazingly cheap USB network dongle, so soon there will be MP3 TV goodness in the living room. Must work on the IR stuff on it so we can use the remote.
And I gymmed again tonight - my personal trainer Ambrose was, apparently at footy, so I had Rafael instead. I'm unconvinced by these names, I must say :)
Rafael and I got on a little better, I think - he's less of a fascist, but I think I got more out of it. Rafael considers the amount of cardio Ambrose suggested to be excessive - with which I concur! :) SO I'll give Ambrose at least one more chance, and see how he goes, but I might be switching to Rafael. We shall see.
