I love it when a plan comes together...
Jan. 6th, 2004 04:56 pmMousey the Junkbot is now breadboarded and tested - working just fine, except that the "headlight" LED doesn't seem to light up - I've swapped a couple of known good ones in and still nothing, so, eh.
Still, it responds to light, and the reverse switch works too. SO it's all good. Except...
I looked at the mouse body I want to use, and the motors I have, and ... it ain't gonna happen. The el cheapo jaycar motors I have are *way* too big. So tomorrow I must go shopping in ... hobby shops. I feel dirty. Any of you miniature-painting nerds want to go shopping for me? ;)
It does, however, mean I can use the motors I have for Rabbit Tank Corps. projects...
