approximate cost of obtaining private pilots license, including lessons, flight time, medicals, license test, the whole enchilada:
$10,000 AU.
I paid that for a motorcycle.
Not that the motorbike isn't worth it, but I had no idea it was so cheap.
Commercial airline pilot is probably out of reach, but hey. Gotta start somewhere, right?
